Battle For The Pacific

$400 donated
Given by 7 generous donors in 12 weeks

Wellington’s first ever Pacific Community Charity Boxing Event. 12 weeks of training topped off by an evening of explosive boxing action.

Wellington

Most of us have experienced, directly or indirectly, the pain of losing someone to suicide. Pacific young people are twice as likely to suffer with depression, anxiety issues, or to make a suicide attempt.

Studies suggest a strong link between obesity and depression. Pacific adults are 2.5 times more likely to be obese than the general new Zealand population and the numbers are even higher amongst Pacific children.

We can't sweep these issues under the carpet.

The Battle For The Pacific team will work with local Pacific charities and community groups to make sure the proceeds for the night go directly into making a positive change in our community.

And don't forget if you are a Trust or Organisation that believes in our vision and would like to work together to make it a reality, get in touch at info@battleforthepacific.co.nz
