Our goal is to raise funds for 20 new piupiu (flax skirts). Current ones are over 20 years old.

Kia ora whanau, our roopu have been training hard over the past few months.
Our goal is to raise funds for 20 new piupiu, so far the cheapest good quality ones I have been able to find cost $300 each, so we may be looking at $6000. It is quite a lot but the piupiu we have now have been here for over 20 years, it is time for a change. You can see them in the photo & a few of them are in a state.

We have 416 members in our Facebook Group - Bay of Islands College Kapa Haka Group Supporters & Sponsors Group, plus a number of others who are not on Facebook. If 200 of us gave $30 each - we are there. Wow - what a difference we will make. Some may give more, some less - all donations are appreciated.
