Braxton Mihaere Journey

On the 16th of february Brax was very ill and we took him to the doctors , he had a high temp and was very un happy, all the Dannevirke doctors did was prescribe him pamol & for him to take it every 4 hours, he started to improve , he was becoming himself again, then it came to 5 oclock the next morning, he was up and was constantly crying , we gave him his medicine he was refusing his bottles, so I took him for a walk to see if he was going to calm down.. he slept for about and hour and half and he was upset again.. Myself and Kere needed to do grocerys so we dropped him off at his nana's house.. he still kept crying, I rung the doctors again too see if I could get him in.. 130pm came and we took him in. Dannevirke doctors again said they didnt know what was wrong but if he gets worse to take him to palmy hospital.. Kere got home from work and I packed up our gear and myself and his nana went over to palmy (kere had work) . We arrived at palmy hospital around 3am and were seen straight away.. they ran multiple tests.. at 7am he became very pale and un responsive , the took him to another room and started to give him stuff , prick his skin and run more tests... we were transferred to childrens ward and they still gave him more stuff took more tests , he had to have a catheter inserted too see how much he was passing urine.. lines in both arms..

BRAX & KERE were flown to Starship Hospital in Auckland around 3ish-pm , while myself and my mum drove up... as soon as we got here he had a breathing tube, a feeding tube , a different catheter, and multiple tubes running out from under his blanlets.. we got the news this morning on the date 20th February 2015 that my 3month old son has Bacterial meningitis.. he has had scans for his brain as he has been having seizures.. and the reason why ive made this page is so we can share his progress with all of you guys,..

We are struggling with food and money at the moment with no income what so ever we are asking for (which we both hate asking) if we could get any donations to help us eat & too help pay our rent and power atm in Dannevirke and basically live while Braxton gets better..
