I have been selected by UN Youth NZ, along with 21 other young people, to represent New Zealand at the International Model United Nations conference at The Hague in January 2016.
The tour also incorporates travelling in Europe and to the UN HQ in New York learning about international diplomacy. We will visit embassies, meet diplomats and ambassadors. Going to museums and significant national landmarks to learn more about the various countries will also be a part of the tour. I am sure that this experience will open my mind and broaden my horizons in the field of international diplomacy.
I hope to pursue a career in international relations representing our wonderful country, so this an incredible opportunity for me! All money raised will be paid to the UN Youth New Zealand to contribute to my daunting $7500 tour fee. I would really appreciate all and any support!

I have been involved with UN Youth NZ since the national event last year and have been a High School Ambassador for my school in the Waikato this year. THIMUN is a great opportunity to conclude my involvement with this organisation, which I have benefited from so much. I am delighted to be representing New Zealand and the UN Youth NZ organisation - please help my dream come true!
