Chch Bull Breed Rescue have been given the opportunity to lease a commercial property and start a 'home base' for the rescue and the dogs!

The dog problem in Christchurch is getting worse not better and we are finding we are having to turn away more and more dogs.

We have been given a fantastic opportunity to lease a commercial property and get ourselves a place in the community where we can be open to the public and most importantly - save more dogs!!

We will be able to take on volunteers to help with the day to day care of dogs and we will be able to help more people in the community with education, free advice and our de-sexing programme!!

This is something our community really needs and I need the community to get in behind me and help cover the costs associated with the property. We are currently awaiting confirmation of becoming a registered charity so the HomeBase would be run by the charitable trust.

I have run Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue from my family home up until now. It breaks my heart having to turn dogs away due to lack of space. Having a HomeBase will give us the chance to rescue the dogs that at the moment are just falling through the cracks.

Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue is a registered charity that takes on abandoned, neglected, abused and dumped dogs from all over NZ. These dogs just want someone to love and be their forever family.

We offer vet care, rehabilitation and loving foster homes until the perfect forever home is found.
