The Helensville Women & Family Centre is fundraising to replace our stolen TV

The Helensville Women & Family Centre has had their LG LCD tv (26" in black) stolen from the premises at 1 Porter Cres. The tv stand was left behind. The HWFC is a community organisation that provides support to hundreds of women, children & families in the South Kaipara area each year and the tv was used in our groups in schools, adult groups and parenting sessions. In response to the generous offers of donations towards replacement of the TV, we have set up this page.
About us
We are a community based non profit organisation which offers:
» Counselling service which is confidential and subsidised.
» Family Support service offers one to one support for women and families experiencing challenging and stressful situations.
» Strengthening Families Service which helps families reach their full potential. Voluntary for families, family friendly, respectful of tikanga Maori and cultural diversity, good at helping families connect with their community.
» Courses and programmes in parenting, self development and Youth Programmes.
» Open Hours – Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm – pop in for a coffee and a chat; we are always ready to listen.

Wow what an awesome supportive community!! Thank you to all of you who donated towards the replacement of our TV! We have met our target and can purchase replacement now. We truely are grateful for each of your donations. Feeling very humble on a Monday afternoon!!
