Jackson has Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), cancer of the blood and he has four beautiful daughters under the age of six to raise.
Waikato
Jackson is awaiting results from his last round of chemotherapy to see if it has brought him into remission, in order to determine whether he is eligible for a bone marrow transplant. However, he is not content to sit back and wait. Jackson would like to start the Intravenous Vitamin C (IVC) treatment as well as a new diet as soon as possible to encourage a successful recovery. IVC is becoming a widely popular form of natural therapy without the side affects that chemotherapy has. However, it is not government funded and comes at a cost.
Jackson is my oldest son, he is a devoted solo dad with four daughters. As a mother and grandmother it is painful to see this young family torn at such a crucial stage in their life. I just want to do whatever I can to assist Jackson towards recovery, so that he can enjoy seeing his girls grow up and vice versa.
