Lucy's Big Haircut

Our little Lucy is 3.5 years old. After showing her a video of a little girl donating her hair to be used as a wig, she wanted to grow her hair "super long" and do this too. She understands that some kids get sick and because of the medicine they take, it can make their hair fall out. We are so proud of her decision to donate a long ponytail to another person to help them to feel better. Lucy will be having her hair cut on February 27.

We also decided to use this as a vehicle to try to raise some money for The Child Cancer Foundation. We are blessed to have 2 happy and healthy little girls, but are aware this is not the case for some families. Cancer is a topic close to our hearts with family members affected, as with so many people.
