Mileka(6) has been diagnosed with Osteoblastic Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). She is a real little fighter but is going to need treatment and surgery, which is going to be approximately a 5 year journey.

This means Mileka, her mum, dad and sister are going to be travelling and living between Hamilton(there home town) and Auckland's Starship Hospital during this time.

Mileka's Mum is unable to work at this time as she is taking care of Mileka. Her Dad is also only able to work part time as he is needing to be with his family to support them during this awful time. This is going to cause financial strain on the family.

Funds donated to this cause will be used to purchase a new bed for Mileka and making sure the house is appropriate for her to return to. She needs everything to be hygienic for when she returns home during treatment, as her immunity will be very low. It will also be used for other unforeseen costs related to the illness. Travel costs back and forth to Auckland are going to be costly too for the family and any funds raised will help ease the strain this will cause.
