Naenae College 1st XI Football Tournament Fundraiser

Our Naenae College 1st XI Football Team is made up of a group of Year 13 boys who have played together since they started College in Year 9. Over the years this team has climbed the Divisions in the College Sport Wellington Competition and have become very competitive. They have just completed their four weeks of grading games and finished top of the table. They are in Youth Div. 3 for this season. This year, their last year at school, we want them to have the opportunity to compete in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Football Tournament being held in Whanganui in Aug/Sept this year, we have never sent a football team away for Winter Tournament before. Four Year 11 players have been added to the squad - their first time at playing Senior Football.

The team has a strong work ethic, are passionate about their football and are great friends.

They have agreed to commit themselves to working hard to raise the funds to cover the cost of travel, accommodation and entry fee. They will be selling raffle tickets, protein bars, doing car washes, hosting a "Futsalathon" and other sponsored events, alongside their training and competing weekly in the CSW competition.
