At age 65, our beautiful Mum, Mother-In-law & Nanna to 7 Grandchildren has been Diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer, which is in-operable.

In June 2015, Denise was admitted to hospital with a collapsed lung after 6 months of pain and difficulty breathing.

Within a week she was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the Lung region. This means that there are numerous Malignant Nodules in the Lining of her Lung, which is categorised as Stage 4 Lung Cancer. This type of Cancer is inoperable.

Denise tested positive for EGFR Mutation which means she can have an alternative treatment to Chemotherapy. This drug will slow down the cancer growth for some time until her body becomes immune and the Cancer will overtake the treatment.

We have found a new form of treatment which has shown positive results with many Cancer Fighters. GcMAF Immunotherapy is now available in New Zealand, however it is very costly. So we are asking for help to raise funds towards paying for the cost of this treatment.

Denise is a single mother of 3 sons and is the most dedicated Nana to her 7 adoring grandchildren (all under the age of 12).

Not only is she Nana to her grandchildren but she is also their Nanny. Denise has also taken on the Mother role to her eldest grandson who lives with his father, a Solo Dad.

She is always there for us ~ her kids and grandchildren, and just loves spending time with her boys and her grandies. Now it's our turn to be there for her.
