Hawke's Bay
8 Special Needs Taekwon-Do students have been selected to put on a demonstration at the ITF world championships. We need help to raise funds to get them and their caregivers there!! These students are eager to go and be a part of Taekwon-Do history.
The world championships caters for approximately 2000 competitors from 50-60 countries and there can be up to 5000 spectators at any given time. Please help us get them there for a life changing experience! The funding made will go towards the students flights to get to England in 2016.
The funds raised from this give a little page will go towards their flights and accommodation to Brighton England.
The approx. cost break down is as follows:
$2,700 for flights and insurance
$250 for a track suit
$1,500 for accommodation for 13days
We are looking into other means of fundraising to get this money also, so any amount will help us achieve our goal! ?
I am involved as I am there Taekwon-DO instructor and I would love to see my students represent me and New Zealand. It would provide great opportunity to prove internationally that anything is possible.
