Tamzyn, a beautiful 7 year-old who suffers from Cerebral Palsy symptoms, severe Epilepsy and Cortical Visual Impairment, needs a bedroom.
Waikato
In little Matamata there is a little two bedroom house where Tamzyn lives along with her two siblings and her mum (Raegan Edwards) and dad. With all three children in one room and mum and dad in the other, this little house has grown too small to accommodate Tamzyn's increasing need for medical care and equipment.
Recently, Tamzyn's parents have been looking into plans to build a room specially, so that Tamzyn can finally have her own space, to live in an environment suited to her condition. Tamzyn's mum and dad have approached their bank for a loan but were unsuccessful so, this room is just a dream at the moment, a dream that we are hoping will come true with your generosity. Please donate to help Tamzyn and her family extend their two bedroom house so that life can be made that little bit easier as they endure the realities of her condition.
As Tamzyn's nan, I have such heartfelt passion for the difficulties my son and daughter-in-law face in raising Tamzyn. They are trying their hardest for their beautiful daughter and it pains me that I am powerless in this situation. Other than entreating New Zealand for help, I cannot financially aid them in any other way. My greatest wish is to allow them to give their daughter her best chance, her greatest quality of life.
I am involved because, in this financial climate, things are tough. So ,to be able to help my granddaughter Tamzyn in this way is amazing because her cause is one of the most worth-while causes I know of.
It's Been A Month ... 20 May 2015
and times have been tough. Tamzyn's seizures have increased, and we have moved our bed into Tamzyn's room to keep a closer eye on her, with Bronson and Tahlia now moved into the smaller bedroom.
