Through the eyes of our children is a collaborative vision born from the belief that educated children can change a nation.

Wellington

On October 17 we launched Through the eyes of our Children, a powerful platform for our children's voices.

Everybody has a story and we believe it is time that our children told their own stories.

Through the eyes of our Children believes there is a powerful voice in every child. We have created a platform for our children to share their stories. Through the process of story telling, our children share something very special with the world and in doing so they gain confidence in the knowledge of who they. They know they have something of value to share. They want to share their stories and people want to hear them. Through this interaction we believe magic will happen and by magic we mean real social change.

Three Wellington organizations have collaborated to create Through the eyes of our Children; Karunai Illam Trust, Eastern Southern Youth Trust, Pamoja Charitable Trust (awaiting registration).

Each organisation is founded in the belief that educated children can change a nation. We don't just share the powerful voices of our children, we invest in their education, in creating safe living environments for them and in creative outlets for them.
