Seven Volunteering Students Who Need Your Help!

We are a small group of Class 12 students and teachers from the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School (Auckland, NZ) traveling to Thailand in January 2017 to engage in volunteer work. We will be working with two great organizations. Firstly, the Koung Jor Shan Refugee Camp which aids displaced ethnic Shan (www.thebranchfoundation.org), and secondly, the Elephant Nature Park (www.elephantnaturepark.org), which features elephant care, developing learning experiences for local children, and living in a cultural exchange at a village in the mountains. This volunteer work is part of our final year curriculum at school.

In order to proceed with this trip, the class must raise around $23,000NZD. We have a range of fundraising projects that we are working on in our community, but we have made this Givealittle page for our friends and family who would like to support us but might not be able to participate in these local fundraising efforts.
