People think exercise means you have to be in great shape, spend lots of money and have the latest gym apparel! The gym can be an intimidating place so I wanted to create a day to celebrate fitness in a fun way where people can try something new!
I have asked some of the talented ladies I know who are going to get us all moving with Zumba, Boxing and Yoga. Take the opportunity in a relaxed atmosphere to step outside that comfort zone or come and soak up the vibe with your friends and family.
I also want to raise awareness of Crohns disease, which is a disease of the Bowel. Almost 20,000 people in New Zealand suffer from it, a quarter of those being children. It is not often talked about or understood. It is an illness close to my heart as my Mum has gone through some great challenges over the past few years struggling with her adult diagnosis.
So come, hang out, bring a picnic or enjoy some of the healthy food options available. You will be supporting a great charity and best of all have a giggle in the sun.
I really appreciate your support, Much love, Cara x
