The redevelopment of the Village Green is biggest fundraiser ever undertaken by the people of Havelock North. This important community project needs your help to succeed.

The Havelock North Village Green is being completely upgraded. This long overdue $1.5 million redevelopment is largely being funded by the Hastings District Council but the wider Village community is expected to raise a further $300,000 to assist with development costs.

The redevelopment plans are extensive. The much loved, but little used Pavilion behind the Village swimming pool is being restored and relocated. It will soon be the focal point of the new and improved Village Green and will be surrounded by a new playground with a children's water play area, sun shades, a revamped skate area designed for small children, paths, and new seating and tables.

This is a "once in a generation" project which will see the Village Green become the true heart and connector of the Havelock North community. Work has already begun on this important project. We need your support to ensure that it is completed on time and without compromise.
