Make your kilometres count by running, or walking, The Star City 2 Surf 2017 in support of Aviva.

Canterbury

Every year in Canterbury, thousands of children, young people and adults are traumatised by family or sexual violence. By participating in The City 2 Surf in support of Aviva you are helping to change, and potentially save, someone's life.

Over 1,500 people come through our doors every year and last year, we received almost 4,000 calls for support. We offer individual or family support for women, men, children and young people; education programmes; home security upgrades to make homes safer from violence; low or no interest loans to support financial independence; and peer support for the longer journey towards wellbeing.

Whatever support people need from us, we give it in the belief that everyone has the potential to overcome the effects of family or sexual violence, and a safer future is possible for us all.

Supporting people through some of the most difficult and traumatic times of their lives is a privilege; by supporting Aviva you can you be part of someone’s story too.
