Shave 4 Cheryle

My beautiful friend Cheryle has recently been informed, right before the 5 year mark of being in remission from breast cancer that it has returned in her lung and spine. Cheryle will now be having treatment to try and keep it at bay for the rest of her life.

Cheryle is one of the co founders of the organisation, Shocking Pink which supports young women who have or had Breast Cancer and I can say first hand that they do so much to help so many. Shocking Pink has helped me personally attend a mindfulness retreat and Cheryle herself has been wonderful support to me throughout our friendship.

Cheryle and her husband Jarrod recently bought a house and they have a son, Josh who is nearly 6. Cheryle and I and our wee boys became great friends when her boy was 2 and mine was 4 and this news has really rocked our world.

I have chosen to do a shave for Cheryle in an effort to help fund raise as treatment can be really tough and this is going to affect Cheryle and the amount that she is able to work and financially its likely to get pretty tough which is truly bad timing for a couple who have just bought their first home.
