We're visiting a children's home in Nicaragua to do some repairs. We've covered our travel costs, will you help us fund the repairs?

We're taking our four children to make a difference in the lives of children in developing countries; Mexico, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
First we'll visit a really cool children's home in Juarez Mexico, http://emmanueljuarez.org.
Then we fly to Costa Rica where we're funding a small group to drive with us across the border into Nicaragua. Our aim is to help out in a practical way at another awesome children's home Hogar El Reposo, https://www.facebook.com/khogarelreposo?fref=ts.
I first visited these wonderful homes nearly 20 years ago and the local families who run them have been carrying on this awesome work for all these years. In Nicaragua, the children's home currently needs some repairs. The roof repair was started in 2012 but not completed and it needs paint. Other fences need repair and we also hope to construct a drain. Please help us reach our goals and make a huge difference in the lives of these amazing people!
What funding will be used for:
Firstly we need to pay for the transport of the Costa Rican team who will go with us into Nicaragua. We are either going to purchase bus tickets on Tica Bus or else we will hire a van in Costa Rica and one of them will drive it through to Nicaragua. Then once in Nicaragua we will drive to Nueva Guinea and complete as much of the repair work as possible. See the list below and help us make it happen!
Here are the list of needs that we will try to meet with our fundraising:
Paint for the roof: US$592, Paint for the walls and ceiling $US1117.30, Repair to the mesh fencing $US2200, Upgrade the roof to a zinc coated roof $US1692.10, a drain for ‘black water’ $1531.70.
Rodiver and Victoria who run the home also provide a free lunch and fiesta for 120 children in their local community each month. We would love to donate funds towards this while we are there as they find this financially difficult at times.
As a family we have initiated this trip and offered to do the project work to support this amazing beacon of hope in a very poor part of the planet. We have covered our own costs so 100% of fundraising will go towards the project; the roof materials, paint, fencing and drainage costs as well as transport for the Costa Rican team. Join with us in making a huge difference in a place where every bit of support is put to good use and improves the lives of children in Nicaragua.
Photos added! 9 August 2015
I have added some photos from my trip 18 years ago, first I'm with folk from the church in Costa Rica, who are joining with us to travel into Nicaragua this time around. Then some gorgeous pics from my visit to Nicaragua, the children's home and the amazing family that still run it today. I love showing my kids the toad in the toilet, getting them ready for the adventure ahead!
