WRKS is all about: 'People Supporting People'.
WRKS is very active and involved in supporting renal patients within the Greater Wellington Region and New Zealand
WRKS has established several initiatives such as:
* providing both CAPD and hemodialysis patients with take home packs (equipment they will need when they go home to dialyse).
* A monthly coffee group open to all patients, their friends and families. Come join us to share experiences, tips and support.
*Fistula Bands for all renal patients. See below for more information.
WRKS has installed a Gambro AK96 dialysis machine at a holiday home in taupo so home dialysis patients and there families can get away from home for a holiday.
