Each year we have a Xmas Party for the kids that live in Amuguis Street with fun and games. We give the kids gifts and have an afternoon tea with ice cream, drinks and other goodies. The kids love the candy scramble (so do the dogs as well)

I would like to expand this to a wider area; and to deliver gifts too more children who go without. Philippines is a major problem for the kids; they catch diseases and illnesses some end in death. I feel these kids are worthy of cheering up over the Xmas period to show them love.

I have been visiting Lumangbayan which is a barangay(suburb) of Calapan City on the Island of Oriental Mindoro in the Philippines since 2012. I notice many kids living in poverty. The kids get sick and are malnourished; and I notice that people don't have a longevity because of this. They get illnesses like cancer, heart condition, meningitis and other illnesses and they have no money for survival . There living conditions are poor and there families really do struggle. Many sleep on a concrete floor on cardboard. The heat and hygiene are major issues as well. 2015 will be our 4th Xmas Party for the kids.

I use my own money on this project but it only goes a certain distance, if I am to help more kids then I have to get outside help? If you go to the Facebook page you are welcome to join. How did it start, well in 2012 I had I first visited Lumangbayan, on the island of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. The first thing that come to me was sadness then happiness. Seeing these kids always happy. There families living a very poor existence, the kids often getting sick. and malnourished.
