My name is Tessa Berger and I am the 20-year-old entrepreneur behind Lane Merchandise.

Lane Merchandise

Lane Merchandise is a high school, sporting organisation, and corporate merchandise provider with a fashion-conscious yet classic approach to design.

With my position as Vice-President of Mahurangi Action Inc. - a 40-year-old organisation dedicated to the protection, enhancement and enjoyment of the Mahurangi region; my maiden business takes pride in not only being an environmentally responsible business, but employing and producing domestically.

High School Collection

One of my first concepts, the 'High School Collection' is a range of classic supporters apparel inspired by New Zealand based high schools. Through this collection I’m really seeking to provide not only students both past and present but supporters, staff and relatives, a tangible link to their respective secondary schools.

I think the most important aspect of getting this right was finding the balance between simplicity of design and capturing the essence of each high school. In terms of design it pays homage to American university culture in the sense that I drew inspiration from the classic prints you see on collegiate merchandise.

With an athletic background - having represented New Zealand in my chosen sport of football; the taking up of an athletic scholarship at Florida Gulf Coast University in America, gave me the perfect platform to further develop the collection.

As of right now I’m not in a position to continue to self fund this venture as the business endeavours to satisfy the overwhelming demand we have received from high schools around New Zealand. Therefore I have established this page in the hopes of raising additional funds to add to the 'High School Collection'. To make a donation, please click on the ‘pledge’ button. COST BREAKDOWN

The $10,000 will allow for the production of merchandise for a further five New Zealand high schools.

Your contributions will cover the costs of the entire design and production process, not my time involved. This process includes designing applications and material costs, as well as printing and manufacturing costs.
