NZ has a ridiculously high suicide rate. All around us are people. People who aren't sure if they want to live another 24 hrs, there thinking about giving up, there is someone heartbroken, someone depressed, someone struggling with addiction, there is someone using pain to deal with pain..

Voices Of Hope is a non-profit organization that aims to present hope and find help for these people who are struggling with mental illness and its related daily struggles. We want to do this by challenging stigma, presenting hope, connecting to help and investing in treatment..

People are afraid and embarrassed to talk about mental illness, and this won’t change unless people own their mental illness and be empowered by who they are, not by what they have. We are attempting to start a conversation that begins in hard and dark places, continues in hope, and ultimately moves towards healing . A continuing conversation that invites people to speak and be heard, to seek help and to help others, and to live this life together.

Through the power of community and the triumphs of personal and relatable stories we believe it's possible to support each other through any disorder or illness .

As we a not-for-profit organization, Voices of Hope doesn’t receive any funding so money raised will allow us to continue to produce material such as videos, blogs and personal stories as well as start up our merchandise.

We’ll have the opportunity to communicate our message that hope and help are real to as many people as possible .
