From 22nd March 2020 to 28th March 2020 I will be running 100-miles to fundraise for the Dyslexia Foundation of New Zealand and my Grandma
Otago
Hi, my name is Ian and I am planning to run 100-miles (161km) over the course of one week, the funds raised will contribute to two causes that are very dear to me as outlined below:
The First cause, 60% of the funds will be donated to the Dyslexia Foundation of New Zealand. This foundation has helped me directly and I am going to pay it forward to the best of my current abilities so that others can benefit from the same or greater support by donating a majority portion to the foundation.
The Second cause, on the 2nd of January 2017 my loving Grandma (my Father's step-mother) was murdered in Gonubie, East London, South Africa during a home invasion. At the time my family could not afford to send my Dad to go to the funeral. 40% of the donated funds will contribute to sending him to go see my Grandpa (his Dad) and spend time with other family members.

Dyslexia Foundation of New Zealand
The funds going towards the Dyslexia Foundation will be donated directly to the foundation. the remaining 40% of the funds will contribute to flights for my Dad to go to South Africa.
