52 x in 2021 for my cousins (in Uganda)
Fundraising by climbing up Mauao 52 times in a year!

I'm Laria, 9 years old. I was lucky to come to NZ last year but Covid-19 has been really tough for my cousins in Uganda and they have not been to school since March 2020. I'm walking up Mauao 52 times in 2021 to help raise some money to help get them back into school for 2022! I've already climbed up 42 times so only need 10 more to go. Any small amount - $1 a climb or $10 to get me to 52 - will make a world of difference for my family in Uganda. Also, did you know that when I reach my target, I would have climbed one and half times the height of Mt. Everest. Wow!

We did it! 31 December 2021
Wow! Laria has done it - 52 times in the year! From the 1st climb on the 1st of January 2021 to the 52nd on the 31st December - through the rain and wind, and plenty of beautiful mornings, afternoons and evenings, Laria has seen it all! Super proud of you - and thank you again for all the amazing support Laria has received to achieve her goal - both personal and also for her family in Uganda! Happy New Year!
