Ezra to Valencia
An amazing opportunity for Ezra to develop his football skills in Spain at Valencia Football academy

Hamilton teenager Ezra Jefferson-Cope has been working hard at making his dream of playing professional football a reality.
Ezra also been selected to attend Valencia CF the fourth largest football club in Spain to train at their prestigious academy (Valencia CF Foundation VCF).
This opportunity will include training with the Valencia Academy players by the academy coaches, receiving analysis from the coaches, games against the Valencia academy squads and watching Valencia CF play!
With no funding available or scholarships Ezra could apply for, Ezra has raised the money needed himself through all the odd job work he does, his coaching, support from local businesses, and of course Givealittle, he will be leaving for Spain this Friday,27th March for this unique opportunity.
Thank you for helping without the support and help his been given Ezra would not be able to take up the opportunities his worked so hard for.
Ezra coaches at Hamilton’s premier indoor centre, Star Soccer, passing on his football knowledge to others, learning by teaching others and giving a bit back for my experiences with Star Turf.

"We had a five hour delay leaving Auckland which affected everything following. Subsequently we never got to tour the Bernabeu Stadium (we did have dinner in the restaurant however - overlooking the pitch)
I have to congratulate the people I have bought over.
A couple of things haven't gone exactly as planned but these guys are incredibly patient.
Ignacio (host) is a really awesome guy who wants it to be top value for us and I really appreciate his efforts.
The first training yesterday was top class. The coach (Mauro) was the most respected of the academy coaches (good for us) and the session he gave the boys & girls was outstanding (as you'd expect).
The two most significant features were the intensity of the session and the balance of enjoyment and pressure.
For me, I felt vindicated by what I teach to see drills that I regularly use. What I picked up most was a few variations and how to make the intensity work.
Mauro and Ignacio's feedback to me was that the group of boys & girls were excellent in respect to their behaviour and intensity. Mauro told Ignacio he wanted the session to be longer because they were so enjoyable to coach.
I'm really proud to be leading this group.
