A Fight For Faith

My daughter Faith requires more support then I can give at times being a single mum not being able to work to care for her needs. For nearly 2 years Faith has fought to hard living with a nerolgical condition (called complex regional pain syndrome) that has rob her of her childhood. As faith condition is still quite rare, New Zealand Health DHBS supports are low With treatment and rehabilitation options. Just like faiths story, other stories are emerging on TV programmes like 20/20 and 3rd Degree. Faith was meant to be on the 3rd Degree documentary a year ago but was too unwell to take part when come to filming. As a mother I want faith to have the childhood she dreams off, I dream of taking her to America where they have more knolowdge and treatment help for faith and this is my main goal in life. I know that their are also plenty more children with this condition that struggle and we have come to know some other amazing parents on this same journey sharing the same issues. New Zealand really need to get involved and put this on the map, Doctors need to keep be updated and finding out about new treatment rehabilitation that can support New Zealanders getting the treatment they so need.

Please note our goal is $3000, $2000 for the course and accomdation and $1000 for a years treatment and medication.

Through this Give a Little fundraising page I would like to be able to get some medications that are not currently funded that could really help with some of Faith symptoms. We also like to be able to pay for some more physiotherapy sessions as currently she is only receiving a hour a week, children with this condition requires intense physiotherapy.
