Gareth's Fight

Gareth is 33 years old and has an aggressive form of Cancer. He is a husband to Tash, and father to Akayla, who is just over two years old. For more than a year, Gareth has known about the Cancer and has fought very hard to get rid of it. Although a few rounds of chemotherapy didn't work, radiotherapy and surgery looked like it had successfully removed all of it.

In the last couple of months things have been going much better for Gareth, he had almost put all the weight back on and has been looking and feeling better. Unfortunately, the latest tests have revealed that the Cancer has come back and is now in his Liver.

While the prognosis is not good, Gareth and Tash have continued to stay positive and will fight it every step. We want Gareth to be able to enjoy watching his daughter grow up for as long as he can, and have a nice holiday where they can relax together as a family and not have to think about Cancer.
