Due to everyones generosity, you all reached our initial goal in over an hour! I am so HUMBLED and GRATEFUL for your open hearts and thinking of me. I want to thank each and every one of you who shared, liked, retweeted and especially donated! I have no words but thank you!

I didn't even expect to make $100 but human kindness has greatly exceeded what I had never imagined. The Diamond tickets cost $299.00, so please FEEL FREE TO CONTINUE DONATING if you want to help me reach my goal by 100%. I wouldn't have thought you would all be so so so so kind (and so fast!), hence the reason for capping it at $200.

As many of you know, Mariah Carey has recently announced her first ever visit to my home country, New Zealand! If you've ever read my tweets or even just been around me, you know I adore Mariah, and have for a long, long time. I'm so happy that she gets to come to our country and we can experience her greatness in person. (I, personally, am ready to have my hair snatched out by the root by her awesomeness)

As much as I love Mariah, I feel she (or her team) are not aware of the economic climate in our part of the world lol - namely KELSTON. If you've ever driven through my hood, you know it's a struggle lolol. I work to support myself, however, as hard as I do work, I still struggle to make savings. I was encouraged by some friends who thought that this was a great way of maybe getting that little extra help I need to afford a ticket to see Mariah live in concert.

Even if I receive 1c to $100, I'm grateful that anybody has even considered me in the first place. I know there are causes who may need the money for more important, meaningful things, and thats absolutely fine and I support them all the way. However, this is my humble way of trying to achieve something that has been a dream of mine for a long, long time. Any money left over or surplus to requirement (if we're that lucky) will be donated to one of Mariah's favourite charities, The Fresh Air Fund, in the name of "All The Lambs In The Land". The Fresh Air Fund supports children in low-income communities, and gives them hope (like myself!) and inspiration for a brighter future.

I appreciate anyone and everyone who can help me, and will be indebted to you always. I ask that you help me make my dream come true!
