To help our Aunty cover costs of the funerals of her husband and daughter that she will face in the very near future.
Nationwide
This is Tony Henry with his eldest daughter Desiree and this is their story....
Last February, Tony went to hospital after complaining about some health issues. He is 66 years old. He was diagnosed with a brain bleed and needed to have an operation. He encountered multiple complications because of his existing medical problems and it was touch and go for a while. His stint in hospital that time was 3 and a half months. Very hard on the family who walked to the hospital everyday, sometimes twice a day. He has been in and out of hospital for the past year due to complications. He is now back in hospital and been given only days to live. While in here, his daughter Desiree came to the hospital to visit. She was in excruciating pain and could barely walk so was forced by an Aunty to be seen at the ED. They did tests and an MRI. She was diagnosed with Bowel cancer and nothing they could do for her. The cancer has gone right through her body. The family has faced and will be facing even more financial strain with two funerals to prepare for and the last thing our Aunty needs is to worry about money so we have set up this page to help her with the costs she will face in the near future. We believe she needs to be able to spend all the time she can with her husband and daughter while supporting her children and grandchildren. We thank you kindly for your time and generosity. Love and light xxx
Because the whanau shouldn't have to worry about finances when they're dealing with so much already.
To go towards the funeral costs our Aunty will have to face in the near future for her husband and daughter.
Uncle Tony 3 February 2018
With much sadness I find myself having to post one of, if not the last update for this page. On Wednesday 31st January, Uncle Tony decided to begin his final journey. He fought a long hard battle and while sadness doesn't even begin to express how our entire whanau feel, we can at least take solace in the fact that he is no longer in pain and has been reunited with those who have gone before him. Rest in Peace my darling Uncle xxx
