A Double Blow.

This is Tony Henry with his eldest daughter Desiree and this is their story....

Last February, Tony went to hospital after complaining about some health issues. He is 66 years old. He was diagnosed with a brain bleed and needed to have an operation. He encountered multiple complications because of his existing medical problems and it was touch and go for a while. His stint in hospital that time was 3 and a half months. Very hard on the family who walked to the hospital everyday, sometimes twice a day. He has been in and out of hospital for the past year due to complications. He is now back in hospital and been given only days to live. While in here, his daughter Desiree came to the hospital to visit. She was in excruciating pain and could barely walk so was forced by an Aunty to be seen at the ED. They did tests and an MRI. She was diagnosed with Bowel cancer and nothing they could do for her. The cancer has gone right through her body. The family has faced and will be facing even more financial strain with two funerals to prepare for and the last thing our Aunty needs is to worry about money so we have set up this page to help her with the costs she will face in the near future. We believe she needs to be able to spend all the time she can with her husband and daughter while supporting her children and grandchildren. We thank you kindly for your time and generosity.
