A Football Dream Of A Lifetime

Hi my name is Rhiley Whitiora and I am 12 years old. I live in the Morrinsville area and go to Morrinsville Intermediate.

I have been fortunate enough to be selected to be apart of a football experience in Valencia, Spain from 31/3/2020 to 17/4/2020 as part of the Soccer PlusNZ Academy in Auckland.

Like all young football players, it is a dream of mine to play football in Spain/Europe. I have dreamed of this since I started to play football at the age of 9.

Since then I have made it into Waikato Rep teams and have also been apart of the Rikki Herbert Academy in Cambridge, however this has been the biggest opportunity that I have ever had and I am so grateful to have been selected.

The 18 day experience comes with a cost of $8,000. This includes:

- Training sessions with Valencia CF official coaches

- CRACKS Academy coaching

- 1-2 Friendly matches

- Mestalla Stadium tour

- VCF GloVAL Academy and Sports City Tour

- Training kits

- Valencia 1st team training viewing

As you can imagine as a 12 year old boy, $8,000 seems unaffordable, however together with the support of my family and friends we hope to do all we can to get me there.
