A Heartfelt Call for Help: Rebuilding After Tragedy

It Took Only a Few Seconds to Lose Our Whole Future

Dear friends and community,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart as my family is going through a devastating time. My husband, a highly qualified mechanic, recently had a tragic work accident, losing two fingers and severely damaging a third. This has left him unable to work, and I’ve also had to stop working to care for him and our two young children, aged 7 and 5.

We came to New Zealand with so much hope, but now we are forced to live day by day, facing an uncertain future. To work as a mechanic again, my husband may need multiple surgeries that are beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Despite receiving some ACC support, most of it goes toward rent, leaving very little for other essentials.

While we are grateful for the support we’ve received so far, my husband’s long recovery process means we still need your kind assistance to get through this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, would make a huge difference in helping us provide for our family.
