Alani Samia - Our turn to give back to you and your family

Talofa everyone,

Our mentor, our coach, our friend.....a devoted husband and loving father ALANI SAMIA is not well. The family have been working with doctors over the last two months to find out what is wrong. After weeks of tests and procedures the surgeons took a look into Alani's abdomen and on New Years eve received the news that Alani has extensive cancer of his abdominal wall. This is quite rare and in what is apparently a very healthy man extremely bad luck. We await biopsy results to determine the course of action. But I must tell you all that the surgeon was not hopeful and referred Alani to the hospice. I am posting this now as I am mindful of how precious time is and am grateful that we have time. We have time to search the globe for other opinions and possibilities but most importantly we have time to talk, love and share good times old and new. I know outside of his family that Alani has touched many many lives particularly within the volleyball community.

We want to support the SAMIA family by helping them financially with medical and wellness costs, ease financial pressures as two of their beautiful daughters Laina & Rosalia work during Summer Holidays to help pay for University, help this beautiful family create memories that will last forever by sending them on a FAMILY VACATION to SAMOA.

If you know Alani & Kath you will know that they give a great deal of time to others especially other peoples children. They have hearts of gold. Please help us to give back to this amazing family.
