Alex, a 6 year old greyhound was diagnosed with bone cancer. Because the cancer was detected early, it was decided that the affected limb should be amputated which will extend his life expectancy.
Alex's medical bills have been huge and Zinnia, his human needs our help. Please donate. Every little bit will make a massive difference. Thankyou in advance

Alex Update 15 August 2017
There's been a massive response to Alex's plight from within New Zealand and from around the world. So far over $4500 has been raised.
Even better still, Alex has steadily improved. During the weekend his outlook was not looking good as the VSA intensive care team worked around the clock to keep him alive.
Since then his condition has improved and he is now eating.
Alex is not out of the woods and still has a very long road to recovery ahead. His medical bills are already over the $12,000 mark and continues to grow.
Even though Zinnia has pet insurance, there is a huge gap between the insurance cover and the mounting vet care bill.
This said, Zinnia and Isaac (his humans) are astonished by the sheer generosity of all who have given so generously.
Thankyou so much for donating. every bit helps!
