    Just got back from the vet, Allie has passed her post op check. And is in very good shape. Everything is healing well.

    A bit of a downside though, they have picked up that she is diabetic and now needs to go one a special vet food diet. Just another challenge in her live. She survived the earthquakes and she will get through this.

      So pleased to hear she’s on the mend John. My little Coco also is on special vet food and has been thriving on it. I’m sure Allie will too ❤️

    Allie is home, and all tuckered out!

    On soft foods for the next 5 days and then back to the vet for post op check and diabetes results.

  • Allies Surgery

    Allie has had her surgery and had to have 5 teeth removed, including one that was causing her pain.

    The vet also thinks that she may have diabetes so her blood is being sent off to the lab for further testing.

    But apparently the surgery went really well, and apart from needing a sedative so they could take blood, she is doing ok! She is due home about 4pm today.

    Allie is at the vets awaiting her testing and her tooth extraction. Should be home mid afternoon all going well.

  • Surgery Booking

    Allie is booked in for her dental surgery on Tuesday 25 January.

    She is expected to be at the vets all day.

    And (gasp!) she is not allowed any breakfast. Dad would like to know if someone would like to break the news to Allie..... about the breakfast! She will not be happy!!

      All the best Allie. I hope people will reach out and help your Dad pay for your much needed surgery. Every little bit will help, so come on people, lets ensure this senior citizen and his beloved pet have a good outcome.

    Antibiotics seem to be working so that eating and drinking is starting to get back to normal. Just need to keep the dreaded dental infection away until the dental work can be done.

    But there are times when a Puss just needs to have a little Zen.
