Help the Pirate City Rollers A team- the All Scars get to the East Coast Derby Extravaganza (ECDX) in the USA!!!
The first roller derby league in the southern hemisphere and the oldest in New Zealand, the Pirates are the highest Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) ranked team in the country.
Dedication, hard work, and commitment has lead to the All Scars being invited to tournaments throughout the world, and they've worked their way up to establish their place in the international roller derby scene.
To maintain their international ranking, the Pirates must travel and compete frequently, and it ain't cheap! Without fundraising, each skater must fund their travel, accommodation, and other expenses themselves. To compete at ECDX, that can cost the team upwards of $30,000.
The Pirates have over 5,000 fans on Facebook. If each fan donated just $1 or $2 each, the Pirates would be set! Any and all help from friends and fans to get the Pirates to ECDX would be greatly appreciated.
