Amy's French exchange trip to Switzerland

Amy (age 16 and year 12 student) is going to Switzerland for 8 weeks from the beginning of December 2017 to the end of January 2018.

While in Switzerland she will be staying with a family and going to school.

Amy has worked incredibly hard to save up for this trip. She has done babysitting, worked in the kitchen at the soccer club rooms, worked tutoring students in English after school each day, and she has started a business making and selling bath bombs at Markets (I can tell you this is a HUGE amount of work and effort).

Amy works really hard at school and for the past 3 years she has received the award for First in French for her class each year (years 9, 10 and 11).

Amy is the second child in a family of 6 children and is always a great help around the house and with the younger kids.

The total cost of the trip is $4634.00 which includes the following:

Airfares: $3899.00

Insurance: $200.00

Trip to Paris for 3 nights $475.00

Administration fee $60.00

Amy has worked hard and raised $3000 so far and is continuing to work hard to raise more before she leaves.

She also has received $250 from Avonhead Rotary.

She needs to raise $1384.00 by 20th September.

She will also need some spending money. Ideally I'd like to see her take $1000 Swiss Francs which is approx $1421 NZD.
