My brothers house burnt down in a fire. he needs all the support he can get, and if there's anyone who deserves it, it's him.

Auckland

I've been truely blessed to call Dredyn my brother. I've watched him turn dirt into diamonds over the years with his amazing work ethic and attitude, whilst having the biggest heart in any person I've had the privilege of meeting. If words could describe Dre, it would be exemplary, loving, outstanding but most of all, my biggest inspiration in life. let's just say, Dredyn was always given the short end of a broken stick, and still came out on top of things, every single time. It's the type of resolve that would only come around once in a blue moon. I've never been the best with speaking, but if you can't tell, I admire the little shit.

Unfortunately sometimes things that are out of anyone's control happen to the best people, and my brother lost everything His hard work and commitment had brought him when his home on Waiheke Island tragically burnt down. Of all the people this could happen to, Dre is the very last that deserved it. As Dredyn is only 16, he does not have insurance to cover himself for events like this.

As a family, the best we can do for him right now is to give Dredyn all we can, we've been gathering items and money to give to him and also our love and kindness, as cliche as that sounds... I consider it paying him back for all the love, dedication and respect he has given and earnt. I know however that what we'll be able to give will not surmount to what Dre truly deserves in those regards. At least we can take steps to mitigate the losses and give to something much greater than us.

All I ask is for help if you can. I don't want people out here breaking the bank or going too far out of their way, just contributing would mean the world to him. That's the kind of person he is, always grounded and appreciative of what he receives and takes nothing for granted, no matter the circumstances. Even your love and support is greatly appreciated.

Dredyn is an inspiration to me. He's living proof no matter how shitty things get, they're never truly as bad as we think they are and we can always turn things around and make something positive, whether that be learning a lesson in failure or making do with what we have. He's never asked for anyone's help in his life, nor has he complained about his circumstances. Now it's Dredyn's turn to receive some love and kindness back. Funds received will be sent to Dredyns Grandmother Kay Ikink to send to Dredyn.
