On the 4th June 2021, Andre lost his life in a tragic motorbike accident in Christchurch, New Zealand. It was his loving partner, Nicola, who first received this devastating news, and with all his close family members in Brazil and abroad, she is now faced with the difficult task of arranging for his remains to be repatriated home to his family in Sao Paolo. Nicola's own family is also far away in Ireland.

We know that anyone who knew Andre loved him instantly, whether you knew him all your life or just for a short time. And I know he made my dear friend Nicola so happy. She loved him so much. So, because we can't all be with Andre, or with Nicola, or with the Fernandes family at this time, we thought we could come together and help to ease the financial burden for both Nicola and the Fernandes family.

No dia 4 de Junho de 2021, André nos deixou em um trágico acidente de moto na cidade de Christchurch, Nova Zelândia.

Nicola, sua amada companheira, foi quem primeiro recebeu a terrível notícia e, junto aos familiares no Brasil e no exterior, ela agora enfrenta a difícil tarefa de organizar a transferência de André de volta a sua família em São Paulo.

Sabemos que todos que conheciam André o amavam, independentemente se o conheciam por toda a vida ou por um curto período de tempo.

Tenho a certeza que ele fez minha querida amiga Nicola muito feliz. Ela o amava muito.

Pelo fato de não podermos estar todos juntos ao lado de André, nem de Nicola e da família Fernandes nesse momento, gostaríamos que, se possível, nos uníssemos para ajudar financeiramente com os gastos relacionados a este triste acontecimento.

On the 29th June 2021, Andre was successfully repatriated to his home town of São Paolo, where he was received by his loving family. He was laid to rest alongside his grandparents on July 1st at a ceremony that was attended by a great many friends and family.

The funds raised by this campaign have gone directly towards the cost of this process and any remaining to his family and children in São Paolo.

Nicola and the Fernandes family were both amazed and delighted by such enormous generosity. They wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to you all. It is a testament to the character of our dear friend and a sign of the huge loss in our lives.

Em 29 de junho de 2021, André foi repatriado com sucesso para sua cidade natal, São Paulo. Onde foi recebido por sua querida família.

Ele foi sepultado ao lado de seus avós no dia 1º de julho em uma cerimônia que contou com a presença de muitos amigos e familiares.

Os recursos arrecadados com a campanha foram direcionados, grande parte diretamente para o custeio do processo de repatriamento e restante para sua família e filhos em São Paulo.

Nicola e a família Fernandes ficaram maravilhados e encantados com tamanha generosidade. Eles desejam estender sua sincera gratidão a todos vocês. É uma prova do caráter de nosso querido amigo e um sinal da grande perda em nossas vidas.
