A volunteer fire crew are mourning the death of one of their own after discovering a member was killed in a car crash on Saturday.
Volunteer fire fighter Anne Talijancich, 43, died when the car she was travelling in with her partner and two young children crashed into a bridge on the Pouto Peninsula, south of Dargaville.
This is a support fund that is being established for the surviving partner and two children of Anne's from the tragic accident all of whom sustained injuries and distress. It is hoped that this fund will benefit them in the unforeseen costs that arise from the hospital expenses that will arise from each of their treatments and also for to assist towards the funeral expenses fir Anne.

Annes Funeral service will be at the Dargaville Baptist Church, 185 Victoria St, Dargaville, this Friday 11am, followed by burial at Red Hill Cemetery, Red Hill Cemetery Road, Te Kopuru
