Support the Emery Whānau in their time of heartbreak
Tēnā koutou katoa,
Our whānau is navigating an unimaginable loss.
On 24 November 2024, our beloved Aria-Sativa Kapene (24) and Crystal-Alizae Emery (19) were tragically taken from us in an accident caused by a drunk driver.
Aria-Sativa and Crystal-Alizae were daughters, sisters, cousins, and friends—they were loved deeply by all who knew them. Their young spirits were taken far too soon, leaving a void that can never be filled.
As we grieve this tragedy, we are seeking support to give them the send-off they deserve. Funeral expenses have placed an overwhelming burden on our whānau during this already heart-wrenching time.
Your tautoko (support) will help us:
- Honour Aria-Sativa and Crystal-Alizae with funeral services that reflect the love and joy they brought to our lives.
- Support their immediate family as we grieve and navigate the difficult days ahead. Including future court cases.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
For those who cannot give financially, sharing this kaupapa with your networks would mean the world to us.
We are aware of how ACC could help but it will take some time.
Thank you for your aroha and compassion during this heartbreaking time. Together, we can ease the financial strain on our whānau and focus on honouring the beautiful lives of Aria-Sativa and Crystal-Alizae Emery
