Arobridge Equine Assisted & Remedial Therapies- It is a life changing experience
Looking for donations - Arobridge Equine Assisted Therapies & Learning. Our horses are our therapist with help from Human Facilitators.Auckland
In June 2018- 3 Kaimanawa mares arrived from the muster. Archie was born to Elly-Mae on 16 August 2018 and Deni-Mae was born to Bexley-Mae 15 Sept 2018. The 5 kaimanawa's have joined our herd of horses boosting our numbers to 13. The Kaimanawa's have joined us in our therapy sessions where we work alongside people to help people help themselves through awareness, intuition and self discovery. For many it is life changing when the horses work their magic. Much of this work is not funded and it is hard to turn people away, but we must feed and care for the welfare of our horses to ensure we are able to carry on. From July 2019 I have battled along until in December'19, I went into hospital for hip replacement surgery, and obviously have not been able to do any further training or other work. I relied heavily on volunteer help and gratefully pulled through on their gracious help. I have not been able to work until now, and have used all our funds to keep the horses fed and looked after. It is hard - especially without any rain. We are feeding out hay and hard feed to all and it is costly. If you can find it in your heart to give a little towards the Horses ongoing welfare - our herd and humans would be so grateful. am a certified 2014 Eponaquest Instructor (RFI) and Eagala trained 2009 Equine Specialist.
