Ashburton Aviation Museum
It would be so very appreciated by anyone who could donate any monies to our cause to enable us to keep our doors open for the future.
Canterbury
We are a volunteer run aviation museum situated at Ashburton Airfield. We have three hangars with approx 30 Aircraft and associated stuff on display for the public. Our aircraft include ex Air force aircraft as well as many civilian aircraft and we also have two flight simulators one an ATR72 500.
As a result of the Covid 19 Pandemic we no longer have any substantial income particularly as we relied on Overseas visitors in the main. We still have quite onerous overheads, eg Insurance, Rent, Rates, Power etc to cover and while we had a bit put away we are really in need of donation funding by anyone one who is able to help.
About us
We are a volunteer Charitable Trust Organisation who operate an Aviation Museum in Ashburton. We have three Hangars and 30 Aircraft and associated paraphernalia on display.
Use of funds
Mainly to cover our overheads to keep our doors open.
