Australian Bushfires
To offer financial support to a young family who have experienced loss of their home in the Australian bush fires currently still burning.

On New Year's Eve we heard that Laura and Kel, their two young children and Kel's parents lost their family home and buildings in the New South Wales town of Quaama. Fortunately Laura and family were visiting family in Sydney at the time so are safe and well but all their belongings have been destroyed.
We have been in touch with them via Debbie and Phillip and it is very difficult for them to admit that they need help but are very humbled by the gesture of financial assistance to support them to get on their feet again.

Two months ago Laura, Kel and our two Grandies lost their home, business and belongs in the NSW Bush Fires.
My Brother and Sister-in-law setup the “give a little” page to help Laura, Kel and especially our Grandies to get back on their feet.
Two months have passed and the Givealittle campaign is about to close (tomorrow) after raising an amazing AUD$20,000 directly and indirectly.
Words cannot express our appreciation to the many amazing people who have cared, shared and donated to help the family. We are soooo thankful to you all.
It’s the toughest challenge they’ve ever had to face both physically and emotionally, but they’re taking it in their stride - tackling the hard tasks and celebrating the achievements. We’re so proud of them!
Please know that your assistance has gone directly to Laura and Kel who are extremely grateful as they start to build their new home and life.
