Please support us as we go take on the Australian regattas with Ave Gitana, every little bit helps.

Auckland

We have officially been loaned Ave Gitana by Owner Antonio Pasquale and he has agreed to let us take the trimaran from New Caledonia to Australia to compete in the Australian Circuit.

After a successful Groupama Race in June where we finished 1st all girls team, 2nd multihull and 6th over the line we are eager and excited to get back on the water and out racing in the below events.

Noumea to Brisbane - 800nm Offshore

Brisbane to Keppel Race - 350nm Coastal

Audi Hamilton Island Race Week

Magnetic Island Race Week

Magnetic Island to Russel Bay of islands - 1880nm Offshore

Our skipper Sharon Ferris-Choat of Thalassa Magenta Racing is on board sharing all her experience from her back ground as a two time Olympian, Volvo Ocean Race sailor and GC32 helm to name a few sporting achievements.

Ave Gitana, Antonio and Sharon are all about enhancing women's offshore sailing and giving opportunities for as many sailors to gain more experience and exposure, and this is exactly what we are trying to accomplish in the upcoming regattas using a range of young woman from Australia and New Zealand.
