Baby Johnny support 💙

Named after his Father, Johnny Watson Johnson was born 7th May at 7:37am weighing 5.4 pounds, without Georgia meeting her son, he was immediately taken to NICU. Johnny arrived to the hospital at 10am and both parents did not get to meet their son until 1pm in the afternoon.

Baby Johnny, born at 32 weeks, is now in an incubator and can not be held, he is sedated, his lungs are still “sticking together” and so he is being supported by 100% oxygen on a machine, gas and humidifier machine. Half of his heart is ‘hardened/tight’ and is on a medications to help the blood vessels expand. He has a suction tube running into his stomach to remove any air and is currently having breastmilk put to his lips by a cotton tip however is being fed through a stomach tube. Baby and parents are now going through genetic testing as there are concerns for the development of baby’s eyes and ears.

Georgia is waiting to be discharged from the ward where she is recovering from her c-section so she can move down into the NICU parent room with Johnny.

They have been informed that baby will be in NICU for 8 weeks.

Georgia and Johnny are working out plans to juggle being away from home, care for Zoe (their 1 1/2 year old) during the working week, and the financial effect of Johnny taking time away from his work/business to support his family.
