No parent should go through the hurt and pain of watching their child fight for their life, please pray for baby Zinnia 💕
Auckland
Baby Zinnia at 9 months old has been fighting a battle of a life and death situation. She flew on a helicopter from Waikato hospital to Auckland Starship hospital on the 19th Dec 2020 due to her respiratory system and heart being really weak.
On her arrival Baby Zinnia was put on a Machine called ECMO.
ECMO is a form of life support that takes over the work of her heart and lungs, It takes the blood away from her heart and goes through a pump and oxygen delivery system which then returns to her heart giving her tiny body oxygen to all her special organs.
Baby Zinnia was also put on Dialysis due to her kidneys not working.
Baby Zinnia Is also on another ventilator Machine that breathes for her. She has special breathing tubes That have been surgically put into her airway that will help ventilate her and provide oxygen to her lungs.
We have been told that she is the sickest and youngest patient they have at starship (PICU) at the moment.
Baby Zinnia is 1 out of 5 patients worldwide, the Second patient in New Zealand And by far the youngest patient to have to undergo major procedures and operations to help save her life.
To this day she is still in critical condition and is still fighting day by day.
Zinnia’s parents are Maria (Mum) & Zebulin (Dad) she also has 2 older sisters Katie-Rose & Ruiha Azalea
In advanced Baby Zinnia’s family would like to thank everyone for their support and kind donations.
Prayers for Baby Zinnia🙏🏽

The doctors told us that they have tried everything for Zinnia, theirs a part of her body that isn't responding. The membrane that gets rid of fluid from the tissue. She's gaining fluid in her tissue that will make her worser.
Zeb Brown and I would like to thank everyone's support, prayers & love through this journey we have been through. We haven't given up on her, but at this point we need a miracle to get that membrane to do its job.
Thank you ❤️💜💚❤️💜💚
