Bernie had pretty bad news this week that his cancer has returned and as he put it hasn't got long to go. His football mates want to pitch in again and help the family through this tough time.

Bernie and I played for the Hibiscus Coast Hero's Over 35 team for many years. Bernie is the most enthusiastic football supporter I have ever met and this love of the game is infectious. Bernie gave a lot to the sport and the families who were involved, so I believe many people will want to give a little back in Bernie's time of need.

Use of funds

The money will be given to Bernie to help the family while the deal with what is to come and support Bernie through it.
