This has been set up for those wanting to help Blue Duck Station recover from the weather bomb and do more to safeguard mother nature.
Manawatu / Whanganui
The station’s core values are to conserve its endangered wildlife, increase the health of native bush and rivers, and preserve the history of the area, while educating visitors about the endangered New Zealand blue duck, other native species and local history.
On the 7th March 2018 the station was hit by a weather bomb resulting in an uncountable number of slips, broken fences, damaged trees and lost traps.
This weather event has made us realise that we need to do more to safeguard mother nature and our slice of paradise.
Funds will go towards Storm recovery: Tree planting, fencing, replacing lost or broken predator traps
